Biography
Sajjad Vatandoost, a 38-year-old man from Rasht, was killed on January 9, 2026, in Robat Karim. He was reportedly run over by Islamic Republic forces while attempting to assist injured protesters. His family was allegedly coerced into claiming his death was a normal accident. Vatandoost is recognized as a "Javidnam" (eternal name) of the national protest movements.
سجاد وطندوست، مردی ۳۸ ساله اهل رشت، در تاریخ ۱۹ دی ۱۴۰۴ (۹ ژانویه ۲۰۲۶) در رباطکریم کشته شد. او در حالی که مشغول کمکرسانی به مجروحان اعتراضات بود، توسط نیروهای جمهوری اسلامی با خودرو زیر گرفته شد و جان باخت. طبق گزارشها، خانواده او تحت فشار قرار گرفتند تا مرگش را یک تصادف عادی اعلام کنند. وطندوست به عنوان یک «جاویدنام» از جنبشهای اعتراضی ملی شناخته میشود.
